Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate

Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate is a chemical substance obtained by evaporation of white, crystalline mineral waters.

Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate, which is insoluble in every liquid at the same rate, is well soluble in water and glycerol, but slightly soluble in alcohol.

It is widely used in agriculture, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics industry, weaving industry, detergent industries.

It is used as a raw material in the formulations of plant nutrition products, especially in the agricultural industry, but also as a direct fertilizer. It increases the sulfur and magnesium content in the soil. It is applied to potted plants or magnesium-hungry crops such as potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, lemons and roses.

It is used as an additive to animal feeds to eliminate magnesium deficiency, and also to regulate the digestive and excretory system of animals.

It helps to remove substances such as ammonia, nitrile liquids, amines, chlorinated hydrocarbons and acetone from water.
