Calcium Nitrate

Calcium nitrate is an inorganic salt, formed of Ca(NO3)2(H2O)x. Both anhydrous and hydrous forms are white/slight yellow colored. Calcium nitrate is generally found in tetrahydrate granular form.

Calcium nitrate is mainly used as fertilizer as well as used in the process of  odor elimination in waste water pre-treatment  applications, cement industry, latex production, cold packaging.

Calcium nitrate used as fertilizer establishes healthy growth of crops, prevents deseases on plants. Applied on many kind of fruits, vegetables and flowers. Especially prevents bitter pit and blossom end rot) on apple trees.

High level of calcium in plants, improves stength of cell wall during active cell division stages. Nitrogen has a positive effect on the uptake of Calcium in the plant.

Calcium nitrate improves fruit quality, prevents desease. It can be directly applied in open field and greenhouses as well as for folair application
